Comverse acquired Netcentrex, a leader in network-based software enabling IP-based voice-video-data (“triple-play”) and FMC (fixed-mobile convergence) solutions, received Internet Telephony’s Exellence Award for their IPCentrex Technology.

Comverse’s Converged IPCentrex Solution enables service providers to offer attractive and cost-effective hosted bundles of enterprise voice, video and messaging services. Converged IPCentrex Solution can be deployed by integrated service providers, fixed-line carriers, mobile operators, ISPs and MVNOs to provide enterprises with a full range of hosted communication services. PBX functionality, attendant services and fixed/mobile virtual private networks (VPNs) can be delivered by Comverse’s Converged IPCentrex Solution across cellular phones, IP phones and/or dual-mode Wi-Fi/cellular handsets.
