The Terrible 2.0s
Recently, it seems that to gain attention in the telecom industry these days, one must add the “2.0” suffix to everything. We have barely started figuring out the implications of Web 2.0 on our lives, when new 2.0s are being thrown upon us, such as Voice 2.0, SMS 2.0, IMS 2.0, Parents 2.0 and more. The industry is suffering from a severe overuse of the “2.0” expression, to the point that it crossed my mind that I should sign this article as “Daphna 2.0”.
