Comverse Wins Best Innovation and Best Project Implementation Awards from BillingChina

Comverse, a subsidiary of Comverse Technology, Inc. and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services, today announced the receipt of two prestigious awards from BillingChina. Comverse won the Best Innovation award for its Converged Billing Solution and the Best Project Implementation award for a billing deployment at Zhejiang Telecom.

The awards were organized and conferred by BillingChina and representatives of other industry media in recognition of outstanding contributions made by vendors and operators in China. The panel of judges included industry leaders as well as representatives from carriers, universities and the Communications Ministry. The award ceremony was held in the Minzu Hotel, Beijing.

“The Best Project Implementation award for Comverse’s billing deployment at Zhejiang Telecom, a large subsidiary of China Telecom, makes note of successful localization, seamless scalability and the wide range of features and functionality provided by our robust billing solution,” said Eitan Achlow, President of the Asia Pacific Division at Comverse. “We succeeded in converging all Zhejiang Telecom’s billing systems into one system that can issue single bills for each multi-service customer with an extremely short processing window. This advanced billing solution gives Zhejiang Telecom the flexibility to creatively package and sell existing and next-generation services.”
