Comverse’s MyCall Converged Communications solution was presented with the “Best of Show” award for “Best Service Provider Solution” category at TMC’s Internet Telephony Expo West.  There was a strong interest among operators to provide a unified, converged service interface to customers.  We were pleased to win this award, highlighting our integrated fixed and mobile communication solution for the delivery of seamless consumer services over fixed and mobile networks.

Futurecom is the main telecom and IT event in Brazil where executives and industry professionals participate.  Comverse had a large booth with a meeting room and three demo stations where the Comverse solutions were showcased.  Comverse also had two speaking slots in which Smart.net shared their billing success story, and Eduardo Mendoza discussed the Comverse Mobile Internet Gateway offering.  Next year the show will be moving from Florianopolis to Sao Paulo, which is expected to increase the desirability of this event for many CXOs, industry leaders, and media.

At the Broadband Properties and Comptel Plus Conference & Expo, both held in Dallas, Texas, and the TelcoTV show in Atlanta, Georgia, Comverse’s pre-integrated applications combining IPTV with voice & video telephony and messaging were showcased. 

Andicom has been recognized as the most important academic and business meeting in telecommunications for the Andean region.  All the major telecom players from Colombia attend Andicom to stay updated on the latest industry trends and issues discussed in the conference sessions and network with other players throughout the tradeshow. 

Comverse was a sponsor of TMIA’s Fall Conference in San Antonio, Texas.  One of our customers, Smiliana Vladetic from Telekom Serbia, spoke on “Using 3G Visual Applications to Enhance the User Experience”.

We were pleased to meet our friends and customers from the Caribbean at the recent CariCam Mobile Congress event, held at the El Conquistador in Puerto Rico.
