Fresh off of Comverse’s recent win of BillingChina’s Best Innovation and Best Project Implementation Awards, the company received two more outstanding recognitions for its billing solutions.

For the third consecutive year, Comverse has been named the recipient of the prestigious Telecom BSS Vendor Award, bestowed by Frost & Sullivan. The award recognizes the most outstanding telecom solutions vendor in the BSS (Business Support Systems) segment in Asia Pacific. The award was conferred at the 2007 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards, which seeks to recognize companies and individuals that have pushed the boundaries of excellence - rising above the competition and demonstrating outstanding performance in the ICT industry across the region. Contenders were evaluated based on key measurements for the base year 2006, including revenue growth, market share and growth in market share, leadership in product innovation, breadth of products and solutions, major contracts won, and business and market strategy.

In addition, the International Engineering Consortium (IEC), in association with InfoVision Awards, bestowed the Best New Product Award to Comverse’s Converged Billing Suite at the Broadband World Forum Asia 2007. The InfoVision Award program recognizes technologies, applications, products, advances and services judged to be the most unique and beneficial to the telecommunications industry, its related industries and consumers globally. The award cites Comverse’s Converged Billing Solution as the ideal answer to an essential need as the industry converges in many ways, and operators transform into full service communication providers.
