When dealing with HTTP adaptive streaming, calculation of the actual duration of a video session is required. To achieve that, the playlist file needs to be parsed and then the number of video segments that are part of the specific video session must be counted. This is achieved in the Comverse solution in a fast, straightforward and complete manner.
