Our company is seeking an Account Manager, Billing Sales who will work with the installed base in Mexico and Central America to develop existing business and prospect new sales to existing accounts, working jointly with existing regional account teams. This is a management position involving frequent interaction with the highest levels of both Comverse and Customer organizations. Responsibilities include development and management of customer-specific recovery plans as well as the institution of lessons learned and process improvements. The position operates as a Trusted Advisor to Comverse customers. The individual will have broad responsibilities in leading teams involving members from all disciplines, key suppliers/partners, and external customers to the solution of complex customer problems. A priority will be given to proactive measures to anticipate and resolve customer issues before they adversely affect the customer. This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and customer.
You will lead in-service teams maintaining software/hardware solutions for Comverse Tier 1 (carrier class), North American telecommunications providers.
The position is an individual contributor role, with some matrix management responsibilities. However, you may be asked to mentor other CMs as they are assigned to related projects.
KEY OBJECTIVES/ACTIVITIES:
Partner with account teams for all assigned accounts to better understand and strengthen Comverse / Customer relationships.

The Development Integration group is responsible for integration of all subsystems and components of the various deployment modes of the billing systems - Converged, Postpaid-only, Prepaid-only, etc. The manager must have an excellent understanding of the overall system architecture and the design of its various components, subsystems, and capabilities. The manager also needs to have working knowledge of all sub-system configuration and provisioning of the converged system.

This is a highly technical and hands-on position. The employee must have a well-rounded computer engineering backround. A broad knowledge of many areas of computer systems is needed- distributed computing, various operation systems, databases, SW architecture, HW architecture, real-time systems, and high-availability systems. The manager will oversee or lead a team of development integration engineers focusing on a set of functional areas. Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description:
This position is responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of Oracle database utilities for the lights out remote management of customer production databases for Comverse’s Highly Available (HA) prepaid billing product running on two node UNIX clusters using failover technology. These Oracle database utilities cover instance creation, monitoring, alarms, logging, job scheduling, backup/recover, security, performance, and database sizing. The scripts are written in UNIX Korn shell and utilize Oracle command line tools and utilities.

In the design process for new scripts the developer will be responsible to create Technical Requirements Documents, Detailed Design Documents, and Installation and Configuration documents as necessary along with Coding, Unit Testing, and Integrating the script into the product. These documents and deliverables should remain consistent with currently established DB-Core standards, practices, and procedures where they exist. The developer is responsible for scheduling and holding design reviews as needed to support the development processes. The Developer is also responsible for integrating these jobs with other groups within Core Engineering and CPG Development.

Once the construction is compete the developer will then support the deliverables as they move through DIT/PQA and are released to our customers as part of the company’s product suite. Once into production, support is provided as necessary to the Support Organization and Current release groups on both an in and after hours basis.
