Product Sales Expert

Full Description:

•Maximize the product sales in a designated region or customer segment.
•Identify, initiate, support, lead and execute Messaging and Mobile Internet business in SEA
•Establish, together with Account Teams, influence at the senior level of the potential customer.
•Engage with the operator staff to develop business justification, technical requirements, budget request and vendor selection process (RFP).
•Lead product aspects of sales process, including, bid strategy, proposals, pricing strategy, commitment and support the content/price negotiation.
•Oversee the product aspects of project implementation and service launch
•Consolidate product market requirements and influence product roadmap
•Transfer product knowledge to the field on a regular basis (AMs/CMs/pre-sales etc.)
•For a PSE in Tel Aviv only: In addition to customer facing activities, perform back office support for the sales team in the field and the Messaging and Mobile Internet PSEs stationed in the region;

Job Requirements:

Experiences:

• Mobile VAS solutions previous experience
• Worked with Telecom companies / Operators – an advantage
• Extensive experience in Customer facing positions
• Exposure to multiple full lifecycle projects

Education

• Relevant technological education

Senior J2EE Developer

General Description:

The Senior J2EE Developer will support current and future state architecture and design. This role is responsible for web based user interface applications including usability, design and implementation for the Front End web based products. Provides prototypes of key functional implementations and oversees and provides leadership for all user interface designs. This is a senior-level position involved in leading the design and development of our suite of ComverseONE products. The Senior J2EE Developer will:

Lead complex User Interface development activities requiring extensive research and development of web and desktop based graphical user interfaces.
Use a disciplined approach for design, development, maintenance, and documentation of commercial software products.
Produce process flows, annotated wire-frames, design prototypes, and functional design specifications for web applications
Work in a team of skilled interdisciplinary professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, implementation, and user interface design experience:

Promote established standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Develop solutions to complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
Analyze system functional and performance requirements to support design architectures.
Lead efforts to scope and prioritize design requirements to meet product requirements.
Universal access for any user, in many languages, on any platform
Taxonomy creation and information design for websites and web-based applications.
Shepherd the design process and drive decisions
Develop design standards and contribute to the Intranet Development Guidelines
Work within software engineering plans/schedules, providing technical designs and guidance.
Adherence to technical architecture standards and practices to ensure reproducible development and high quality.
Engage in hands-on, in-depth analysis, review and design of the software, including technical reviews.
Provide employee coaching and mentoring.

General Qualification Guidelines:

A track record of 7 to 10+ years of Enterprise Commercial Software Product
Development experience and 5+ years of product leadership experience with OO methodologies and technologies in Windows and Linux/Unix environments
Strong organizational skills with a capacity for attending to detail
Practical experience and demonstrable proficiency with Web Services, JSP, JSF, JavaScript, Servlets, JSP, and J2EE specifications and other UI technologies
Other key skills and knowledge areas, include:

Security Models
Directory Models
Application Servers
Agile Software Development Practices
Object and Relational Databases

Past experience in a commercial software company desired
Ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members.
Experience with rapid prototyping a plus
3 years+ Java Portal design/development required
Databases: Oracle
Systems: Unix, Linux, AIX, Windows
Excellent communication and influencing skills in English
M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or equivalent relevant experience
